Bridges of Solidarity
Erasmus + Youth Mobility
2018-3-EL02-KA105-004474.
The project brings together 6 nations, Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Serbia and Romania and includes two phases: an Advanced Planning Visit (APV) in Patras from 5 to 7 April 2019 and the youth exchange from 8 to 17 July next. The “Bridges of Solidarity” project allows 30 young people aged 18 to 27 to meet, live, work together under one roof and share experiences on cultural diversity and migration issues, for 9 days in Patras, Greece. This project allows each participant to acquire and develop intercultural skills, in order to live in a society with social inclusion, solidarity, without xenophobia, discrimination and racism. The project promises not only to improve but also to broaden the horizons and create a space where the dignity of the individual finds its place in a heterogeneous community. NKey will be involved in the project by providing technical and intellectual support to FTS, the Italian partner.
The outcome
The young people who participated in the Youth Exchange in July 2019 have acquired new skills related to intercultural dialogue and respect for diversity and increased their collaborative skills by working in mixed international groups. Thanks to this experience, young people will inform and share their personal experience with others once they return to their countries of origin.
The team of Italian kids has created a book on human rights translated into the languages of the project to give to all participants of the exchange and you can download it for free from THIS LINK
